VOTE: Should UO have a dead week?

That dang quarter system

Week 10 is in full swing, and students come back from Thanksgiving break ready to prep for finals. Given the quarter system, Ducks have 10 weeks to learn a pile of information before they are set free for a well-earned break.

However, many semester schools such as Berkeley and Yale have ‘dead weeks’ where they have no classes the week before finals so they can review the material they learned throughout the semester. However, the quarter system goes much quicker and professors have a limited amount of time to get through the proper amount of material.

We have 10 weeks while studying for cumulative tests. Should we have a week to study like other schools?
