OSU Basketball Coach Chris Holtmann excited to fill the Schott this season

Give the guy a chance

On September 12 at 4:00PM, Ohio State University Men's Basketball student season tickets went on sale.

Coach Chris Holtmann used Facebook to encourage students to purchase tickets and come and check out the Basketball Bucks when they're back in action this winter. We may have lost longtime staple Thad Matta, but it's only fair that we give Holtmann a chance.

"Hello, students. Coach Holtmann here. We are REALLY excited about this upcoming men's basketball season and we need the Schott rockin'. You guys are extremely important to us," Holtmann wrote. "We cannot wait to sing Carmen Ohio, after every game, in front of the NutHouse. Please, purchase your tickets today. We can't wait to see you in the Scott. Go Bucks!"

While we may have only just played our third game of football, it isn't too soon for students to consider supporting our winter athletes. Ohio State may be largely known as a football college, but let's not overlook the varsity winter sports.

On Wednesday, September 14, the Ohio State Men's Basketball and Hockey teams passed out free tickets and snow cones to students on the Oval.
