Ohio State is in the top one percent of universities in the world

It’s no big deal, though

While we’re still trying to get back into the swing of actually going to class again, here’s something to be excited about.

According to a QS World University rankings that was published earlier this week, Ohio State is ranked at 88th in the world.

This ranking out of nearly 1,000 universities world wide puts us sitting comfortably in the top one percent. Along with this prestigious ranking, Ohio State has received a 5 star rating from QS World in all four categories that they use to determine the university’s quality as an institution. The four categories include Innovation, Research, Facilities and Specialists criteria.

Not bad for a bunch of nuts.

So fellow Buckeyes, take pride in this high ranking as we jumped 11 spots up the list since last years rankings were released. And while we aren’t ranked higher than Michigan, at least we’re above Michigan State.
