Ohio State students are not happy about the reconstruction of High Street

I asked a few OSU students about how they feel about losing some of OSU’s most iconic bars to make room for a new campus area with a hotel, boutique style shops, and “classier” bars.

“Wtf where am I supposed to get drunk?”

“In concept it could be a good idea but in the past we’ve seen companies go in there that are just too expensive for the college student. They’re trying to profit off of the students #savetoos!”

“I don’t know much about it, which is probably an issue in and of itself. Awareness should be broadcasted to students on major issues like this so they are better prepared to have an educated decision on the matter.”

“Even though they are taking away some of the students favorite businesses, I think these changes will provide high street with an aspect of comfortability that it currently lacks.”
