Have you ever wondered what it’s like to look like a celebrity? What about White House rapper extraordinaire and Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda? For my friend Francisco Corredor the struggle is real.
Francisco Corredor is a graduate of the SUNY Purchase Opera program and a dead-ringer for our Hamilton favorite. Like Lin-Manuel, he is also Puerto Rican, raps, plays piano, and composes#holler.
His friends and family (yes, even his grandparents) have been confused about what they think was Francisco’s recent success.
The day Lin-Manuel Miranda spoke about Puerto Rico at the White House my friend’s phone was blowing up all day.
As a celebrity look alike, he just had to embrace it.
His own father was even receiving texts. Francisco’s…not Lin-Manuel’s.
Francisco has performed at the US Open with Josh Groban.
Donned Hamilton-esqure attire in Opera’s.
And can even be found posing with various other musical celebrities.
