The PG announced his decision on Instagram

In a post on Instagram last night, Fighting Irish Point Guard and top scorer Demetrius Jackson announced he will be leaving Notre Dame for the NBA draft.

He said: “I am blessed with the opportunity to say I will be declaring for the NBA Draft. It was an honor to represent such a great University and program.

“The continuous support of the Notre Dame family has made these past three years unforgettable.”

The junior, who led the Irish in scoring, was also second in the ACC in assists.

In a Twitter post, Coach Brey said Demetrius has “maxed out his college experience & is ready for the challenge of NBA.”
