Notre Dame beats out most Ivies for most powerful Alumni network

Fighting Irish family lasts well beyond graduation

In a recent ranking, Best College Values released a list of the 50 most powerful alumni networks, and Notre Dame came in at an impressive number five.

Perhaps more notably, the Irish placed before most Ivy League schools, including Brown, Cornell, Princeton, and Yale.

The list took into consideration several factors like financial contributions from alumni, percentage of employment through career services, and helpfulness of alumni according to student ratings.

A quick glance at distinguished Notre Dame alums features former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, CEO of Bank of America Merrill Lynch Brian Moynihan, and, of course, wildly successful romance novelist Nicholas Sparks.

The Notre Dame family is just as strong post-graduation as it is during college. The Irish never stop fighting for one another, but it never hurts to knock off a couple of Ivy Leagues while we’re at it.

Oh, and just in case Duke wasn’t sick of losing to us yet – we beat them, too.
