NC State’s basketball coach sends care packages to Houston hurricane victims
Coach Kevin Keatts is such a sweetheart
NC State's kind, new Men's Basketball coach, Kevin Keatts, sent shoes, shirts and other supplies to victims of Hurricane Harvey.
In a tweet, Keatts wrote, "Thoughts and prayers to Houston and the surrounding communities." Along with the tweet, he attached an image of a pile of shoe boxes as well as several shirts folded on top and in front.
Coach Kelvin Sampson from the University of Houston asked for help for his community and Keatts answered. This act of kindness says a lot about the man we've hired to lead our basketball team.
The response since posting early this afternoon has been overwhelmingly positive.
I, for one, am excited to see what kind of positive change he brings to State this season and beyond.
