Campus police respond to ‘suspicious vehicle’ call – instead they find Pokémon Go players

Apparently people still play it?

On Sunday night, an NC State police officer responded to a call about a “suspicious vehicle” parked on Main Campus Drive in Centennial. But instead of stumbling upon two kids making out or a sneaky drug deal going down, they found an NCSU staff member playing Pokémon Go.

The staff member (and a non-student also in the vehicle) agreed to leave the area, probably embarrassed to be caught playing a game that everyone else stopped playing months ago.

Glad to see we’re making use of the officers’ time. I bet they were Team Instinct, bunch of weirdos.
