BREAKING: Massive fire breaks out in Downtown Raleigh

People may be trapped inside

Sometime after 10pm tonight a fire started in Downtown Raleigh. The location is 400 West North Street near an apartment building currently under construction. This is near lots of restaurants and high-traffic places downtown.

The fire is still going and WRAL has a live stream going on their website. The Raleigh Fire Department has called in back up from local departments.

The biggest fear is that people are trapped in the surrounding buildings where the fire has spread. The roads closest to the fire have been blocked off for safety reasons.
