UMich student hit by falling tree
The student is in serious condition.
On Sunday afternoon, a student on a motorcycle was hit by a falling tree on North Campus, near the 2300 area of Hayward Ave. in front of Dow.
The 22-year-old student was admitted to the hospital in serious condition after authorities were called to the scene at around 4:30 pm, MLive reported.
Causes are still being investigated, but high winds and the amount of rainfall in the days prior are thought to be factors.
