BREAKING: Palestinian students peacefully protest Israel Day on the Diag

‘We just want to go home. I want to be able to see my grandparents and be in my own house’

Around 10 Palestinian students are holding a peaceful protest on the Diag during the Israel Day event.

The students are not part of a specific campus organization, but wanted to protest silently because they feel that no one cares about them.

One of the peaceful protesters told The Tab: “We just want to go home. I want to be able to see my grandparents and be in my own house.”

According to members of the student organization holding Israel Day, it’s all about celebration and being proud of heritage.

The protesters are holding signs which say ‘Do Not Speak For Me’, ‘Where Is My Birthright?’ and ‘What Israel Meant to Me…Home Demolitions’.
