Gymnast Simone Biles comes forward as survivor of Nassar abuse

‘I’m not afraid to tell my story anymore’

Aly Raisman was the first of the USA Gymnasts to step forward with abuse allegations against Larry Nassar. Shortly after, McKayla Maroney came forward, too. Today, teammate Simone Biles tweeted her impact statement.

"I've felt a bit broken and the more I try to shut off the voice in my head the louder it screams," Biles said in her statement. "I am not afraid to tell my story anymore. I am too one of the many survivors that was sexually abused by Larry Nassar."

Aly Raisman tweeted her support for Biles, along with a call for action.

"An investigation must be done on @USAGym," Raisman tweeted. "I am sick over this. We must get to the bottom of how this disaster happened."
