Someone put a cage over Testudo’s nose just before finals

Someone has put what appears to be a bag and cage over the head of the Testudo statue outside of McKeldin Library.

The contraption makes it nearly impossible to rub his nose, a common good-luck ritual of UMD students, just before finals.

It’s still unclear who did this, or why. We can only hope that the cage is removed by Thursday, or else we can all kiss our GPAs good-bye . #FreeTestudo
