Seven JMU players suspended prior to championship game

The reasons are still undisclosed

JMU announced Monday that seven of its players have been suspended, despite the FCS championship on January 7. The reasons for suspension have not been released.

Brandon Hereford and Terrence Alls, both juniors, were the only players announced suspended indefinitely by Coach Houston, as the other five players remain unnamed.

According to the Washington Post, “Houston said at his fan and press luncheon he did not anticipate that any of the suspended players would be back for the Jan. 7 game.”
