Madison Connection pranks us all with fake news of raccoon infestation

Good one…

Bradley Polen, one of JMUs student PR managers, announced on Madison Connection’s Twitter page that a large family of raccoons has made our beloved Wilson Hall their home.

They also reported that this means the end of their placement on the 3rd floor and maybe their phonathon calling program, though the latter was claimed to not have been decided yet.

One of the people participating in the phonathon (making calls) was reported to have been “viciously attacked by a baby raccoon” and was said to be taken to RMH, but in stable condition.

However, 30 minutes after the first post, they announced that it was a prank. If you thought this story was real and were afraid for the pretty Wilson Hall and Madison Connection participants, never fear! All are well and still operating.

Good one Madison Connection! We bow down to you in admiration of your pranking skills.
