University of Iowa ranked one of the top schools in the world
We beat Iowa State … again
As if we need reminding how great the University of Iowa is, we have officially been declared on of the top 500 of the universities in the world.
The study, which judges the best 1000 universities across the planet, placed us at 421st. There are an estimated 26,000 universities in the world.
Although falling from 391st last year, we still came ahead of Iowa State and the not listed University of Northern Iowa.
MIT, Stanford and Harvard all took the top spots for another year running.
The QS World University Rankings bases their scores on the expert opinions of 75,015 academics and 40,455 employers, also analyzing institutional research impact. It’s known as the definitive guide of global university rankings.
