Breaking: Alt-Right propaganda found in UI Main Library
‘The university is investigating’
Earlier this morning University of Iowa students found Alt-Right propaganda in the Main Library.
The cards contained white supremacist messages, saying: “America was 90% white in 1950. It is now 60%. Make America Great Again.” They also listed a link to a neo-Nazi website called The Daily Stormer.
Naturally, the cards were found in the section of the library near the section of Third Reich and Nazi materials, including the translations of Mein Kampf. Go figure.
The University of Iowa’s official Twitter account had this response to the tweet:
Rose Fiala, 20, a junior majoring in Gender, Women’s and Sexuality Studies took to Facebook to express her concerns.
