BREAKING: ‘Nazi Scum’ spray-painted on house of University of Iowa Trump supporters

They have a ‘Trump: Make America Great Again’ hanging in the front of the house

A house on the east side of campus near the Pappajohn Business Building was vandalized this past weekend. The residence, home to University of Iowa students, was spray-painted with the words “Nazi scum” across the front porch.

One of the residents posted the vandalism on his Snapchat story

It is believed that the vandalism was an act of protest in response to the residents hanging a “Make America Great Again” flag across the front windows in support of Donald Trump.

One resident explained that he and his roommates are frustrated, but because they’re renting, the culprits “damaged someone else’s property.” It’s okay to disagree with Trump, but an act like this is just immature and doesn’t accomplish anything. “People need to grow up,” he said.

The residents have reported the event to the police. It is still unknown who is responsible for the vandalism.
