Drunk Iowa fan arrested Saturday thought she was at nonexistent ISU game

Close enough, right?

Of the six arrests for public intoxication made at Kinnick Stadium during arguably the best win of the season so far, one stands out above the rest. From the police report:

“Michelle Keys, 35, of Ankeny, IA was arrested at Kinnick Stadium at 1918 hours for Public Intoxication. She had slurred speech, spoke in incoherent sentences, and believed she was in Ames, IA at the Iowa State v. Arizona football game. She had a .225 BAC.”

What a time to be alive. Not only did Michelle get to experience the insane upset win over Michigan (although she may not remember it), she also apparently enjoyed a once-in-a-lifetime game at ISU that none of us will ever get the chance to… because not only was Iowa State playing Kansas at Kansas this weekend, but there hasn’t been an ISU game against Arizona since 1968.

You win some, you lose some. As for us, it was a win. As for this fan, we may never know…
