IU ranked in the top 100 best schools in America

Purdue was ranked higher

As if we needed another official ranking to remind us of how great Indiana University is, we have officially been declared as one of the best universities in America.

U.S. News and World Report has just released their annual ranking of American colleges, placing us up in the top 100. The list includes the best 300 schools in the country.

Indiana University was ranked 90 on the list, putting us ahead of Ball State University standing at 187. However, due to an obvious momentary lapse in judgment by the list-makers, Purdue was ranked #56. The judges clearly haven't visited West Lafayette.

U.S. News base their rankings on graduate outcomes (year-by-year completion and graduation rates), the number of students receiving Pell Grants, faculty resources, student satisfaction, financial resources, expert opinion, student excellence and alumni giving.

Way to go, Hoosiers!Keep taking the world by storm!
