Not bad at all, Hoosiers

Forbes just came out with their list for America’s Top Colleges for 2016 and our beloved IU just missed the top 100 at #115.

Not bad, not bad at all, Hoosiers. With Jacobs School of Music and Kelley School of Business impressing employers on resumes or having some of the best programs in the country for management in SPEA, we shouldn’t be surprised IU is held at such high esteem.

If you don’t think the number is high enough, fear not, as the vast majorities of these schools are private. Forbes ranks IU as #20 out of public universities which is pretty damn impressive considering we’re not paying that sky high private school tuition.

Aesthetically, IU is constantly ranked in the top 25 of prettiest campuses in the United States. When people have compared schools in the Big Ten to Game of Thrones characters, we are Daenerys Targaryen because our campus is hot and Btown is in the middle of nowhere.

Even better than our appearance is our heart. IU has been ranked as one of the top 25 most LGBT friendly campuses in the US for the past three years by Campus Pride. Anyone of any sexual orientation or gender should be comfortable wherever they are, and luckily, IU tries its very best to make sure this happens.

Also, the cherry on top of our nice Forbes ranking is the fact our nationally recognized rival, Purdue, is 12 spots below us at #127. I mean, we already knew we were better anyway, right? Now we have a list to prove it.
