Did anyone else notice that the IU Day signs misspelled ‘Hoosier?’

You had one job, IU

To celebrate the first annual IU Day, signs were put up around campus stating (i.e. sort of passive aggressively reminding) that giving back is what it means to be a “Hooiser.”

Did we get a new nickname? I doubt it, but somewhere along the line, someone screwed up the spelling of Hoosier. That’s H-O-O-S-I-E-R, people.

Maybe after printing someone said, “Fuck it! It’s too late now!” The first year of a tradition is rarely perfect, people.

Surprisingly, only a few people noticed, but didn’t hesitate to poke fun at the school’s mishap.

The good news is that since none of us actually are Hooisers, IU can’t expect us broke students to donate any time soon.

Why no one noticed the typo before making the signs remains a mystery, but theres always next year, IU!
