BREAKING: Fire at the Informatics building

The IU Fire Department arrived at the evacuated the Informatics building at around 6:00 PM this afternoon in response to a fire alarm pulled by a faculty member. I was there.

Me and my friend were sitting in the lobby. It smelled like smoke for a while but it didn’t smell like anything to be concerned about at first. We were still in that lobby until teachers and students came down to ask us about the smell of smoke.

We went into the hallway and saw smoke. Students were putting their hands on a door that was hotter than average. That was when a faculty member I was with decided to pull the fire alarm. We then evacuated along with the rest of the building and awaited IUFD.
