The best pictures from the CU women’s march

On the morning of January 21st, citizens of Champaign-Urbana held a march supporting women

Held in Champaign’s West Side Park, the Champaign County Young Democrats held a march to support women’s rights. Between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. it is said that around 5,000 people gathered in support.

The crowd marched from downtown Champaign to West Side park and invited speakers such as Carol Ammons, a Democratic member of the Illinois House of Representatives,  Alicia Beck, a candidate for Champaign City Council, District 2, and others.
