You deserve a nap

According to data recently released by Jawbone, the fitness tracking company, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is the 39th most sleep deprived school in the country.

On an average weekday, UIUC students only get 6.88 hours of sleep. They go to bed at 12:28am and wake up at 8:04am. Columbia University tops the list being the most sleep deprived school in the country, with students sleeping 6.68 hours on average.

Jawbone also found that female students get significantly more sleep than their male counterparts, averaging 23 more minutes per weeknight and 17 more minutes per weekend night.

According to Jawbone, “The tougher the school, the later the students go to bed.”
