Body found in Charles River
State Police are on the scene
Mass State police responded Thursday afternoon to reports of a body in the Charles River. A woman standing on the dock by the Arthur Fiedler statue saw the body and called 911.
The Marine Unit along with Suffolk County State police detectives responded to the scene along the Esplande and later recovered the body.
A spokesperson said the body is not that of Harvard local Zachary Marr,22, who went missing in the early hours of February 13th. Marr was last seen on surveillance falling into the Charles after leaving from the Bell in Hand Tavern.
