Severe storm warning and heavy snow coming to Cambridge

A winter storm in effect until Tuesday morning

Sorry to break it to you, but you’re going to need those goose down jackets and ducks boots again because six to 10 inches of snow are coming our way.

According to Accuweather, a winter storm warning is in effect for Cambridge until 7am Tuesday.

While snow is expected to get heavier during the afternoon, it should taper off by the early evening so you’re not getting buried on your way to the d-hall.

And with winds blowing at 10 to 20mph, and gusts up to 45 mph, you might want to cover your face (just stay way from any of the banks with your ski mask on).

“A winter storm warning is issued when an average of six or more inches of snow is expected in a 12-hour period,” says Accuweather, “or for 8 or more inches in a 24 hour period.”
