Georgia Tech named one of the most prestigious schools in the world
We ranked higher than Brown, Dartmouth, and UGA
As if we needed reminding how great Georgia Tech is, we have officially been declared as one of the top 100 most prestigious universities in the world.
The study, which judges the universities with the best reputations across the planet, placed us at 48th. Keep in mind there are an estimated 26,000 universities in the world.
We came ahead of rivals like UGA, who failed to crack the top 100, and, on top of that, we even placed higher than Ivy League schools Brown and Dartmouth.
Harvard, MIT, and Stanford all took the top spots for another year running.
The Times Higher Education World Reputation Rankings are created using the world’s largest invitation-only academic opinion survey, and targets only experienced, published scholars for their opinions. Times Higher Education is known as the world’s most authoritative source of information about higher education.
