Jay-Z’s nephew considering playing basketball for Georgetown

Patrick Ewing is a big reason why he’s leaning towards playing for the Hoyas

Jay-Z’s nephew Nahziah Carter is reportedly considering playing  for the Hoyas. A star player for Bishop Kearny High School in Rochester, New York, Carter was originally intending on going to University of Dayton; however, when coach Archie Miller left for Indiana, Carter decided to reopen his recruitment.

While Carter, who averaged about 19 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists for Bishop Kearny, is seriously considering playing for Georgetown, he is also being courted by Boston College, Vanderbilt, and South Carolina among other schools.

Carter reportedly visited Georgetown over the weekend and met coach Patrick Ewing. Jim Hart, Carter’s coach, told ZagsBlog “he loved Patrick [Ewing].” For the moment, “he’s focused on playing summer ball […] and is just taking his time” making a decision.
