Scooter accident results in ‘some injuries’
The crash happened at the corner of West Call Street and Chapel Drive
A “car accident with some injuries” has been reported at the corner of West Call Street and Chapel Drive.
According to police, a sedan collided with a scooter when “one pulled out in front of the other.”
When asked about the condition of the scooter driver, police on the scene said ”we don’t know yet.” He was transported to the hospital and his condition is unclear but critical. “We’re crossing our fingers that he’s okay,” a nearby officer said.
Because of the crash, West Call is blocked off from Chipotle to Fuzzy’s tacos under The Luxe. Pedestrian traffic is sill moving but the intersection is roped off with crime scene tape.
