Florida State ranked in the top 1 percent of the world’s universities

Still better than UCF

As if we needed reminding how great FSU is, we have officially been placed in the top 500 schools worldwide.

The study, which judges the best 1000 universities across the planet, placed us at 431. There are an estimated 26,000 universities in the world.

In our same spot as last year, we also came ahead of schools like Syracuse, LSU, Clemson and Auburn.

UCF came in at 701, USF at 501.

MIT, Stanford and Harvard all took the top spots for another year running (shocker).

The QS World University Rankings bases their scores on the expert opinions of 75,015 academics and 40,455 employers, also analyzing institutional research impact. It’s known as the definitive guide of global university rankings.
