Madison Social is taking donations toward Coach Jimbo’s fine

MadSo is everything we love about Florida State

In the height of Seminole spirit, Madison Social, everyone’s favorite bar/ trivia night hosts/ Sunday brunch place, is taking donations toward Jimbo’s $20,000 fine.

This weekend, The Atlantic Coast Conference fined Florida State University a whopping $20,000 for Coach Fishers remarks- calling the officials calls in Saturday nights game “cowardly, gutless and wrong”- stating his remarks violated the ACC Sportsmanship Policy.

On their site, MadSo has stated “The $20,000 fine for speaking the truth against ACC Officials is a travesty. Every donation will be given to Coach Fisher or given to Kidz First Fund– whatever he chooses.”

Christian, the owner of Madison Social, told The Tab “There’s no secret that MadSo are the biggest Noles fans out there, and we have quite a large Noles following. We decided to see if our audience would want to pitch in with the fund, and it just so happens we have a good relationship with the Kidz First Fund as well.”

When asked if they’ve had anything interesting happen since starting Jimbo’s fund, he said “one of the funniest things about the donations page is the amount of people who put in the gift note ‘I’m with Jimbo’ or ‘ACC refs suck’. One person actual put ‘please help me find a wife’- we’re more than happy to help Noles fans find true love.” Amen.

So far, Madison Social has raised around $800. You can donate to Jimbo’s Fine Contribution here.
