The definitive hangover map of Tallahassee

The best places to get your brunch on

Tallahassee is known for its wild nights, like the Perfect Girl’s Night Out or the infamous White Trash Wednesday, to name a few. While we’ve paid tribute to the glorious and sometimes greasy nights spent here in the ‘Nasty, it’s about time we recognized the ball and chain that accompanies drinking: the hangover. To my partiers, fret no more, for we’ve found the best places around town for you to relieve your headache and irritability.

The Crepevine

The Crepevine is a cheap place to get your hangover fix. Since, ya know, you spent most of your money on two dollar drinks the night before, this restaurant is a great place to get either savory or sweet dishes for reasonable prices. Did I mention there’s Nutella?

Lucky Goat Cafe

This trendy coffee shop can be found on Monroe and Capital City. It features traditional coffee drinks that are strong enough to zap your headache away and remind you of any reasons to live. The goat also offers a variety of pastries that can only be described as orgasmic. Not bad at all.

Merv’s Melts

Just like how the alliteration in its name is satisfying to the ear, what you order will be even more satisfying to eat. Not only does Merv’s have combinations of food that are made for the Gods, they also serve sweet potato tater tots. If your hungover-self isn’t already drooling, you will be when you smell the food.

Maplestreet Biscuit Company

Don’t let my unhappy face deter you, this biscuit slowly brought me back from the dead with each bite I took out of it. If traditional brunch foods like eggs and pancakes just aren’t your style, Maplestreet offers a modern twist to the biscuits and gravy your grandma used to make. I’m not going to lie, I popped an Ibuprofen and ordered another one.

All Saint’s Cafe

To all the hipsters with hangovers, All Saint’s is the place for you. It has dark lighting and strong coffee and an assortment of teas so you can adjust to the real world gradually. If your previously alcohol-filled stomach is rumbling, they also have low priced food as well.
