Chomp Chomp! UF ranked second for the most school spirit in the country

It takes true dedication to be a Gator, and with so many of us repping orange and blue almost every day of our lives, it comes as no shock that we have the second most school spirit in the Nation.

In a ranking on College Magazine, we were beat out only by Ohio State University.

Some contributing factors to our ferocious spirit? UF has the largest student ran pep rally in the nation, known to all of us as Gator Growl. Not only that, but we know how to turn up in the Swamp. With one of the loudest stadiums in America, leaving us screaming at levels of 115 decibels, just below the threshold of pain. #ChompChomp. Not only that, but we’re loyal as hell, with every single home game at The Swamp being sold out from the years 1979-2011.
