Eric Trump really screwed up this time
He breached election law on the day his father is on the ballot
This morning, Donald Trump’s son, Eric, proudly cast a ballot for his father. Being the loving son he is, he probably figured: “Hey, let me broadcast my vote!”
Unsurprisingly, Eric is not in touch with New York state election law, even though the selfie ballot debate has been prevalent in the media. Justin Timberlake‘s mistake in taking a selfie was innocent; Eric’s was stupid.
New York Magazine even wrote: “Technically, a voting selfie could get you a $1,000 fine, or up to a year in jail.”
This slip in well, thinking, was inevitable today. In fact, this makes him guilty of a misdemeanor, @FBI.
He has since deleted his tweet.
