New ‘free speech’ chalkings have appeared on Emory campus
The chalk may fade, but this argument isn’t going to
More chalkings predominantly emphasizing free speech have appeared all over campus this evening.
Some are pro-Trump, while another encourages readers to #FeelTheBern.
They were found near White Hall and Asbury Circle. This is following the controversy this week of the Trump chalkings which began on Tuesday.
It is unclear at this time who is responsible and at what time the writings and drawings appeared, but it is clear that this issue has definitely struck a chord with those on campus: sparking protests, interest from journalists, and international media attention.
