Biden’s first visit was to the University of Pennsylvania’s cancer center. The time and location of his visit to Duke are still being worked out.

The initiative will help with “research, data-sharing and return on investment.”

Biden is the first Vice President to launch a Facebook page. He hosted a Q&A session on the project yesterday, answering questions including how to get involved, and what his vision for the project are.
