Cornell has the 23rd best reputation in the world according to a new ranking

We ranked higher than Brown, Duke, USC, and Northwestern

Times Higher Education’s World Reputation Rankings has been released, ranking Cornell University in 23rd. Cornell has dropped 6 spots in the ranking since last year when they came in 17th.

The United States continues to dominate the World Reputation Rankings, claiming 42 places in the top 100 list. However,  Asia’s leading universities have made a rapid introduction to the list. For example, China’s Tsinghua University and Peking University both surpassed the University of Pennsylvania and Cornell University this year.

Although international institutions have surpassed numerous schools on the list, the US’s top six universities have not changed: Harvard, MIT, Stanford, Berkeley, Princeton, and Yale.
