Tributes to be paid to Cornell junior Aalaap Narasipura

His body was found underneath in Fall Creek this morning

Aalaap Narasipura, who had been missing since Wednesday, was found dead in Fall Creek this morning. The New York State scuba team recovered the body.

Narasipura was an Electrical Engineering student who planned on pursuing a Master’s of Engineering at Cornell following his graduation. He was also a member of Cornell’s Ultimate Frisbee team.

Vice President for Student Life Ryan Lombardi released a statement extending the university’s “deepest condolences to Alaap’s family and friends as they grieve this tragedy.”

A community support meeting will be held at 4pm in the One World Room in Anabel Taylor Hall.
