Power outage hits Cornell and it’s getting dark already you guys

At 5:09 pm today, Cornell University lost power. As students lost all light in their rooms and frantically ran to their back-up phone chargers, people across campus (and in the city of Ithaca as well) attempted to live their lives without power.

Students in elevators (like those in High Rise 5) are trapped, while administrators sent out emails to students attempted to update them while having no information themselves.

Hallways remain lit, because they are powered back-up generators, and luckily the Wi-Fi and bathrooms remain on and working. We will survive.
