What’s the best part about being home?

Everyone knows the first two weeks are the honeymoon stage

A semester at Cornell definitely takes a toll on us all. By the time December rolls around (or even November for that matter), everyone is ready to get as far away from Ithaca as possible.

Home-cooked meals, sleeping in your own bed, spending time with your family – all things we definitely take for granted when we head off to school in August.

So enjoy all these things that were sorely missed until the holidays pass, the honeymoon stage is over, and we’re dying to leave home and return to Cornell.

We asked on Snapchat: what’s the best part about being home for break?

Here’s what your fellow Cornellians had to say.

Valentina Nieto, sophomore, Bioengineering

Ryan Storms, sophomore, Development Sociology

Bo Belmer, sophomore, Industrial Labor Relations

Gabe Hernandez, Junior, Industrial Labor Relations

Stacey Chen, sophomore, Human Development
