Columbia student in critical condition after hit-and-run

A man has been arrested in connection to the incident

A Columbia University freshman is in critical condition after he was hit by a car on Monday.

According to coverage by NBC New York, the student was crossing the street near Riverside Drive and West 115th Street around 12:30 a.m.

A 23-year-old man, Brayard Arno, was arrested for leaving the scene of the accident after turning himself in.
