Milo Yiannopoulos talk at Columbia postponed

Looks like his ‘mattress girl costume’ will have to offend another day

Milo Yiannopoulos, who was originally set to speak at Columbia, has postponed his talk.

Originally, the talk was to be held on November 16th on Columbia campus. However, just two days before, on November 14th, the announcement was made through Heat Street that the talk will be postponed.

In a controversial move, as is his style, he told The Tab Columbia that he was considering a “Mattress Girl” outfit to mock the Carry That Weight art performance from 2014.

When we polled Columbia students on whether they wanted to Milo to speak on campus, the majority responded no anyway.

The talk scheduled for NYU you the following day has also been cancelled. However, this event was cancelled by NYU due to “concerns for the community’s wellbeing.”

The cancellation at Columbia is said to be caused by a “scheduling conflict” and another will be scheduled for the spring time.

We have reached out to Milo Yiannopoulos for a comment.
