There are now Columbia themed iMessage stickers

You didn’t know how much you needed these

As of yesterday, everyone with an iPhone now can use CU themed stickers.

Developed by two Columbia students, Dan Burkhardt and Melody Yeung, it is “the first iMessage App made for and by Columbia students.”

One of the creators, Dan Burkhardt told us that the project began last summer. When he realized that they could make their own sticker pack for Columbia, he contacted his friend Melody Yeung who he describes as “a really talented painter and visual artist.”

Both adorable and extremely functional, here is an example of some of the stickers.

The themes are nostolgic of past events or representative of the Columbia experience with a “Carry that weight” sticker or one showing the line at the elevators in Hamilton and a “triggered” lion.

Burkhardt also told us that in the future they “aren’t going to be shying away from producing more stickers that demonstrate either the ironic or criticism-worthy elements of life here at Columbia and we hope that people are going to enjoy using and sharing them.”

We look forward to using them and seeing what they come up with over time.
