The biggest joke of the internet today was at Bucknell’s expense
Well actually…he dropped out.
If you haven’t heard of the absolute shit show that is the Fyre Festival in the Bahamas, you’ve missed out on one of the biggest internet sensations of this week.
The festival, created by Ja Rue and entrepreneur Billy McFarland, cost $1,200 for the cheapest ticket yet turned out to be, well yeah, a shit show:

Here’s the kicker: Billy McFarland, the festival’s biggest backer, went to Bucknell. Well, he dropped out after his first year of computer science to pursue his career. But he spent time on campus nonetheless.
Who knows, maybe a Bucknell education would’ve helped him prevent this disaster.
