In his review of Café ArtScience in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Hackbarth complained about the wait, calling restaurant manager Mark Grande a "fat guy." He also insulted bar director Tenzin Samdo.

According to the Boston Globe, Hackbarth described Sambo as, "Asian cool skinny dude at bar was friendly but knew he was powerless vis a vis the host – different weight class I guess though fat guy probably never heard of mma tricks etc." The Yelp post gained traction after Samdo shared the review on his Facebook page.

Also according to management at Café ArtScience, Hackbarth appeared angry during his November 4 dinner and was making demeaning remarks at the bar before being asked to leave.

Ken Freeman, dean of Questrom School of Business, tweeted a day after the controversy, stating that the school and himself are aware of the situation.

"We are aware of an inappropriate Yelp review posted by a member of our faculty," he tweeted. "It does not represent our views and values. We are extremely disappointed by this occurrence."

Freeman's tweet has since been deleted.

Hackbarth's review has also been deleted from the Yelp website.
