Anti-Trump protests start tonight in Boston

7pm at the Bandstand in the Commons

The election results have left many unsettled, upset, and disturbed. But rather than sitting around and accepting defeat, three organizations have banded together in hopes of provoking change.

Boston Socialist Students, Boston Movement for the 99%, and Boston Socialist Alternative have organized a protest in hopes of building a movement to fight racism, sexism, and Islamophobia.

The protest will start at 7pm and last until half past 8pm at the Parkman Bandstand in the Boston Commons, according to the event page.

The page states that because, “Donald Trump is the next President of the United States, we need to immediately start fighting against him.” The organizers encourage people to invite everybody they know.

Not only are they planning on protesting issues such has “The Wall”, but everything from The Dakota Access Pipeline to rape culture.
