BU student goes missing during trip to New York City

He was last seen at the W Hotel

Zachery Camhi, a graduate student at Boston University, went missing at 5am on September 18th in New York City and is still missing.

The 25-year-old classical bass musician was last seen at the W Hotel near East 49th Street and Lexington Avenue.  

There is an ongoing police investigation with no leads.

Friends of Camhi have created a public page on Facebook called Find Zac Camhi with more information regarding what he was wearing and areas he was potentially spotted.

Several public Facebook posts have been made asking residents of New York or anyone in the area to keep an eye out for the musician.

Zac was potentially last seen in Bryant Park area.

The most recent sighting of Camhi was around 4:46pm, Sunday September 25th.

If anyone is in the area, please look and contact NYPD with any information.

According to the Find Zac Camhi page, Camhi was diagnosed with Bipolar disorder in 2013 and continues to struggle with it. He recently stopped taking medication, which is why friends of Camhi believes he went missing.
