ResLife announces free HBO coming to Brown in January
Winter is coming in HD
Rejoice! The days of streaming the newest episodes of Game of Thrones on a virus infested website are over. Starting next semester, HBO and HBO Go will be available for free with Philo, the university’s cable TV provider.
This comes as part of a major overhaul of the Philo app, as ResLife announced a welcome change in the channels provided. Sports fans will be pleased that a host of sports channels will also be added to the new channel package, including NFL Network and NBA TV.
Channels coming to Philo
This does mean that a few channels will also be leaving Philo, including Teen Nick and ESPN News.
As if this weren’t enough, Philo will now be delivered in full HD instead of the buggy standard definition we’ve been accustomed to.
2017 will be starting off on a high for a lot of Brown students.
